Administrative / Biographical History
David Thoday (1883-1964) was Professor of Botany at the University College of North Wales, (now the University of Wales, Bangor), 1923-1949. Before coming to Bangor he held the Chair of Botany at the University of Cape Town.
Arrangement
Material was received on different occasions, arranged according to record type and incorporated into the General Collection of Bangor Manuscripts .
