The collection of insects made by E.A. Newberry was registered in the University Museum of Zoology, Cambridge, in 1921. It came with a series of notebooks.
- A Catalogue of British Hemiptera, ca. 50 pages, dated 18 August 1882.
- A Register of Coleoptera, in 7 volumes. The entries refer to specimens collected by Newberry between 1882 and 1920 and give details of species and localities. In total there were 15650 specimens.
