This collection consists of documents and postcards collated by nurse John Goodlad including a programme for 'an evening of theatricals' - a production of Sophia' by the Forbes-Robertson Dramatic Club at the London County Asylum Horton Hospital, Epsom, 10 November 1905 and one page from 'The Asylum News' report of the coronation celebrations at various London County Asylums, 15 September 1902. Also, five issues of the 'New Era' Magazine from Severalls Hospital in Colchester, edited by John Goodlad and others, 1959-1961 and a Founders Day Booklet from the Royal Hospital Chelsea, home of the 'Chelsea Pensioners', 8 Jun 1972.
