This was a scheme that served the communities of Cerrigydrudion, Llangwm and Llanfihangel Glyn Myfyr. It was subsequently transferred to Conwy Community Transport.
The bundle consists of the working papers of a protest group set up in Cerrigydrudion, to contest the transfer of the Social Car Scheme, which had been established and run by Clwyd County Council, to a new scheme devised by Conwy County Borough Council. Includes copies of various returns about users of the scheme and correspondence, some of it exceedingly heated, in which the group contested and complained about the new arrangements.
The donor, Dr H G A Hughes, played an active role in the protest group, and has arranged the papers with 'sticky notes' to offer further explanation of the activities of the group.
