Administrative / Biographical History
The Monmouthshire Bee Keepers Association was founded in 1918. Prior to this date several bee keeping societies had been unsuccessfully established in the county. The Association became affiliated to the British Bee Keepers Association and in 1974 changed its name to the Gwent Bee Keepers Association.
