LETTER: William Lloyd, Holyhead to Samuel Dew esq, to say that Mr David Hughes, father of Thomas Hughes is not at home.

His consent will be sent in due time.

Administrative / Biographical History

William Lloyd was born in Cemmaes, Mongomeryshire in 1822-3, possibly the son of John and Mary nee Owen. He was an Independent Minister who first moved to Bersham (Wrexham), Minera (Denbighshire) and finally to Holyhead. He was in Holyhead by 1871 and became the minister of the New Tabernacle Chapel, but was retired by 1891. He never married and died in Holyhead in July 1897.
