Administrative / Biographical History
John George Fardell was curate of St Mary's Church, Sprotbrough between about January 1834 and early 1837. After this he served as rector until 1856 when he was succeeded by the Reverend Scott F Surtees. This volume, which is dedicated to the parishioners of Sprotbrough, was published in 1850.
