Administrative / Biographical History
A preaching place at Balby is given on the 1822 Circuit Plan. In 1884 the church on Balby Road formed part of the Oxford Place Circuit. In 1930 a new church at Alder Grove was built to replace this. This church formed part of the Doncaster South Circuit from 1950, and became the head church of the Doncaster West Circuit.
