Administrative / Biographical History
This church was built around 1897 on land adjoining the Board School Shadyside. It formed part of the Oxford Place Circuit and its successor the Doncaster South Circuit. On reorganisation it became part of the Doncaster West Circuit. The old church was demolished and a new church erected in 1960, on the merger of the Trinity and Urban Road Societies. The Trinity church continues to be used as a Sunday school building.
