Photographs, [late 19th century]-[1960], of members of the Nevill family, G. C. Devas and D. Abel Smith, and including a photograph of a painting, possibly of Charles Nevill (d. 1813), [late 19th cent.].

Administrative / Biographical History

Llanelli Copperworks were founded in 1804 by Charles Nevill (died 1813) and developed by his son Richard Janion Nevill. The family's chief business interests came to be known as Nevill, Druce and Company, their partners including members of the Druce and Devas families.
