Acquisition Information
Rylands accession no. R29863. Purchased by the John Rylands Library from the Manchester bookseller P.M. Barnard for £8 10s in March 1912 (lot 563 in the Phillipps sale on 26 April 1911). At the time of the auction the series comprised 42 items, but when the collection was bought from Barnard it contained only 38 items.
