Administrative / Biographical History
The Beechfield Junior boys (SR78) and Junior Girls (SR79) Departments were merged in 1966 to form this Junior Mixed School. This closed in 1973 and its buildings along with those of the Infants Department (SR8) partly transferred to the adjoining college of Technology, and partly used as office accommodation for the Education Department. The children were transferred to the new Stirling Junior School.
