The contents include correspondence relating to the collection of anti-slavery poetry, The Bow in the Cloud , letters, rough notes, drafts of minutes concerning the activities of the Sheffield Female Anti-Slavery Society, and addresses etc., mostly dating from the 1830s. There are also notes for an address by Henry Joseph Wilson on the slaveholders rebellion, given at the Corn Exchange, Mansfield, on 23 February 1865.
