Joseph Ablett (fl. 1770-1847) lived at Llanbedr Hall, Llanbedr Dyffryn Clwyd, Denbighshire, and was High Sheriff of the county in 1809. He corresponded with William Owen Pughe (1759-1835), the antiquary, John Gibson (1790-1866), the sculptor, and others. This collection consists of correspondence and other miscellaneous material.
