Dunlop's surviving research notes. Some are notebooks, others loose notes. The majority of the notes relate to Ireland, mainly in the 16th and 17th centuries, and many are based on Irish State papers and collections of the British Museum. RDP/2/6 is an extensive collection of miscellaneous notes, which may have been used for the "History of Ireland". RDP/2/10 contains a description of a projected volume of essays on Irish history, which include several of the papers present in this collection, but which was never published.
