Miscellaneous Deeds relating to Manley

Scope and Content

Deeds relating to Manley in Frodsham parish, Cheshire, and to the Manley and Birkenhead families. William Manley conveyed his estates in Manley to John Birkenhead of Crowton in 1532. Arrangement

The items were arranged chronologically by J. P. Earwaker into 2 bundles as follows:

  • CWL/674-695, Bundle no. 1, 1500-1533;
  • CWL/696-724, Bundle no. 2, 1534-1638.

Since there appears to be no intrinsic coherence to the content of the bundles, the bundles have not been incorporated in the arrangement below.
