Files of the School's head of department, which cover a range of policy and administrative matters. The earlier files of Professor Cordingley, from the 1930s and 1940s, include material on relations with the Municipal School of Art, and the proposed new architecture building (a project cancelled by the Second World War). Later material from the 1960s to 1990s includes course curricula, RIBA visitations to the School, School prizes and special lectures. There is also material relating to relations with other architecture schools, and the work of the Architecture Intake Working Party in the mid-1980s.
