Minutes of the Standing Committee of Senate

Scope and Content

The Standing Committee was established following a recommendation of Senate (Minutes 6 March 1919). Its purpose was to organize the business of Senate, to advise the vice-chancellor on matters relating to Senate, and to deal with business referred to it for decision by Senate. originally, the Committee comprise the vice-chancellor (chair) and eight members, although its membership expanded in later years.
