Many of the records in this collection were originally deposited at the Bodleian Library by the rector of Westcote Barton in 1968. Register PAR281/1/R2/1 was deposited at the Bodleian by the priest-in-charge-in 1977. The rest of the collection was deposited at Oxfordshire History Centre by the Bartons History Group in April 1992 (part of accession 3461), except for poor rate book PAR281/5/F2/3, which was found at County Hall in 1988 (accession 2895).
