Large collection of items collected by Neil Dickson whilst researching the brethren in Scotland. It was originally organised into folders representing different geographical areas. The contents of the folders vary, but include all manner of material relating to local assemblies. There is some manuscript material, including letters and rollbooks, and copies of such items where individuals or assemblies were loath to part with the originals. There are pamphlets and leaflets produced by assemblies, and recordings of interviews with assembly members. There is also much secondary literature including assembly histories, typescript memoirs and newspaper cuttings.
