Administrative / Biographical History

Nelson gained his M.D. from Manchester in 1902 and his MB,ChB in 1896. He also gained a PhD from Liverpool. He was Vice-President of the Lanc. and Ches. Historical Society and a Hon. Fellow of the Liverpool Architect. Soc. He had also been a reader in numismatics at Liverpool University; a Holt Fellow in Pathology and a demonstrator of Pathology at Liverpool.
