Administrative / Biographical History
The Assignment of a Lease is a title document whereby all rights that a lessee or tenant possesses over a property are transferred to another party.
An abstract of title is the condensed history of the title to a particular parcel of real estate. The document consists of a summary of the original grant and all subsequent conveyances affecting the property and a certification by the abstractor that the history is accurate and complete.

Acquisition Information
The British Records Association (BRA) is a charity which aims to promote the preservation, understanding, accessibility and study of our recorded heritage for the public benefit. Since the founding of the Association in 1932, its Records Preservation Section has played a major role in saving records at risk, and organising their distribution to local record offices. These items were transferred to Anglesey Archives from The BRA.
