Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History

Records of Armthorpe Junior Boys Department are catalogued under reference SR48. After 1938 the Junior Girls School was housed in the premises vacated by the Senior Girls School (see SR47) who moved to a new school building on Mere Lane. In 1962 the Boys and Girls schools closed with pupils transferring to the newly erected Junior Mixed School on Mere Lane.
