Pantglas Hall Collection

Scope and Content

Pantglâs Hall deeds and manuscripts, 1720 - 1959.

Administrative / Biographical History

Pantglâs Hall was a 19th century country house located in the heart of Carmarthenshire. It comprised a marvellous Italianate 4-storey tower with a 2-storey portico. Unfortunately, the building was severely damaged by devastating fire in 1965 and was consequently demolished in the early 1970s. Thankfully, most of its deeds and manuscripts were deposited with the Carmarthenshire Archives.
