There is a significant amount of correspondence relating to Roscoe's work as an consultant analyst for local government, and businesses, with reports of work undertaken on water, gas, food metals and textiles. Many of these firms were located in or around Manchester, but Roscoe's work seems to have extended as far as Cheshire and the West Riding of Yorkshire.
