The box contains biographical entries for the Dictionary of Members of Parliament arranged by alphabetical order of counties, Bedfordshire to Devonshire. They relate mainly to the Long Parliament. There are fifteen small notebooks containing notes on the Long Parliament and Pride's Purge (Eng MS 307a : 10 notebooks; Eng MS 307b : 5 notebooks).
