A collection of photographs illustrating the development of gothic architecture in England, formerly presented to the Cardiff Free Library by Samuel Gardner. These records have been prepared from Gardner's own catalogue published in 1899, with a preface by Charles B. Fowler, President of the South Wales and Monmouthshire Architects' Society.
