Brockbank's correspondence with former Chindit soldiers. Brockbank was probably given introductions by individuals associated with the Department of Military Studies including Peter Mead and Mike Clavert, as well as by the Chindit Old Comrades Association. Most of the individuals contacted were associated with the second Chindit campaign in 1944. Brockbank supplied respondents with a standard questionnaire in which he asked them to comment on the Chindit operations and their opinion of Wingate as well as answering standard medical-related questions.
