Petition in support of the activities of the South Africa Conciliation Committee, detailing a forthcoming meeting to be held in the Queen's Hall, London, 13 June [1900], composed exclusively of women. Included are the actions against which the women are protesting, 1) the policies which lead to the war, 2) attempts to silence criticism of the war, 3) opposition to any settlement which extinguishes by force the two republics, Transvaal and Orange Free State. Below this statement, printed on each of the five sheets, is a list of names of those women who support the actions of the committee.
