GLASS PLATE NEGATIVES: Showing archaeological sites and monuments across Anglesey.
There is a set of early slides of Din Lligwy Romano - British enclosed hut group settlement in Penrhoslligwy.
Some slides show excavations [probably 1905 - 7] also archaeological drawings of the finds, sections and plans.
There are negatives of church fittings, stone carvings and archaeological sites of interest in other parts of Wales and England.
The glass slides were in part originally prepared for an article; The Megalithic Remains of Anglesey by Neil E. Baynes F.S.A. and read before the Honourable Society of Cymmrodorion at 20 Hanover Square on 10th February 1911
The items have been catalogued in the order by which they arrived at Anglesey Archives, the primary order might have been lost.
