GGC/2 a folder contains correspondence between Campion and Smith together with a covering explanatory note by Campion. The subject matter of correspondence relates mainly to Campion and Smith's views on the role of neural pathways within various areas of the brain. These ideas were set out by Smith in his "Evolution of the mind" lecture to the Royal Institution in January 1934, and in the joint work The neural basis of thought (1934). The correspondence discusses various reviews of that work. Note: some of the items indicated in the list of contents are not present.
