Examination papers in zoology of Owens College, the Victoria University and the University of Manchester. These include papers for the ordinary B.Sc., B.Sc. honours in zoology, B.Sc. honours in agriculture, botany and the first part of the M.B. Ch.B. degree (medicine). The papers include those for practical examinations, for which answers have been added in some cases. The records include marks for individual students for the earlier results. The examination results in these volumes should be treated as the unofficial record for each candidate; the official record of results for students can be found in the University's main examination records.
Some examination papers from a later period (1960s to early 2000s) have been added to this series. These were collected by Dr Derek Yalden of the Department, and although some of these include model answers, they do not contain the results for individual students.
