Scope and Content

These documents appear to have been sorted and arranged by Peter Mead. They comprise:

  • /1 Tulloch's diary of events for 1944;
  • /2 Holograph notes from official histories;
  • /3 Notes about support for Brigadier Fergusson at Indaw;
  • /4 Notes on an interview with General Sir Archibald Nye (described as "a firm of member of the 'Establishment'");
  • /5 Photocopy of a typescript of various references to Wingate in Peace and War;
  • /6 Two notes by Tulloch re. the Indaw operations, one is dated c. 1962, the other "To Peter Mead Jan 1973" [highly critical of Bernard Fergusson];
