Bound volume containing "such scraps of curious and original documents as the taste or selection of the owner may dictate", including some family material (such as notes of the marriage of Thomas and Elizabeth Thompson and the births of their children) and originals and transcripts of writings by T. Thompson and others on an extremely wide variety of subjects (such as the Greek alphabet, death, woodland scenery, the burning of Moscow, Quakers, gardening, Etna, music, Babylon, geology, Edmund Burke, theatres, history, Copenhagen, masonry, Purgatory, odds and ends, mental suffering, the British Museum, Gypsies, statistics, despotism, signs of the Zodiac, and so on); includes a list of contents; the album was started in 1824, but includes material collected before that date, and it was added to in subsequent years.
