Large number of typescript and manuscript drafts and copies of lectures and addresses given by Jefferson throughout his career. The lectures were given to a wide variety of audiences, including professional and academic medical bodies and lay audiences. The lectures and addresses cover a range of subjects, particularly current and historical neurosurgery and medical education.

Arrangement
This material had no apparent order, but the large mass of material made it necessary to subdivide the series. Consequently, five subseries relating to subject area have been created; neurological lectures and addresses, reports relating to neurology, general addresses, biographical addresses, and flyers. Within subseries items are in chronological order.
