Location of Originals

The original minutes of the Westminster Assembly are preserved at Dr Williams's Library, London: see their website at http://www.dwlib.co.uk/dwlib/

The transcript of the Plundered Minsters 1642-1645 came from extracts from British Library Add MS 15,669 , folios 1v-72v.

The transcripts of parish registers were copied by W.A. Shaw in 1889, probably from manuscripts previously in the possession of the Manchester antiquarian John Eglington Bailey (1840-1888). Warrington Libraries hold a corrected transcript of Flixton parish register by Bailey. See English MS 450 above for more information about Bailey.
