Scope and Content

Extracts transcribed by W.A. Shaw from manuscripts in Lambeth Palace Library relating to the Lancashire and Cheshire Augmentations.

This manuscript also includes an index to Eng MSS 446-449 (indexed as volumes I-IV) in this collection. The index contains a large number of personal names, and a smaller quantity of place names and subjects. It is in the hand of Clara Shaw.

The extracts were transcribed by W.A. Shaw from original manuscripts in Lambeth Palace Library (ref.: GB 0109 Lambeth MSS 944, 947, 966-1021 ).
