A short paper read before the Royal Society by Ben Bell relating to his observations on the peculiar effects of potassa and the salts of copper upon two of the animal fluids by recounting his experiments in 1819 on the fluid drawn from the scrotum of an old man with hydrocele followed by investigations carried out with the white of an egg.
