Letters of John Ruskin written from Brantwood (mostly), Oxford and Heysham to: numbers 1-6, Mrs A.C. Strode of Edinburgh, 27 June 1883 - 13 April 1885; numbers 7-26, her daughter, Miss Louisa Strode, 31 October 1883 - 28 October 1886. They relate to the latter's talent for drawing and include an ink sketch of the head of a pointer on which Ruskin has written Admirable. J.R., 6th Aug. '83.
