Scope and Content

Preliminary publicity, contact-lists, invitations, programme of events, relevant journal and newspaper articles, etc., all connected to the artefacts (eg reconstructed working Baby machine), lectures, exhibitions and events held in June 1998 in Manchester. The events were also collectively known as Digital 98. Included in this group of items are print-outs of certain key pages from the University of Manchester’s “Baby@50” website, as they appeared at the time of the event.
