Scope and Content

Photocopy correspondence regarding Hugh Cairns. The photocopies include manuscript glosses by Antony Jefferson. Mostly concern the Hugh Cairns Memorial Lecture and especially Cairns' role in the foundation of the Nuffield Institute for Medical Research in 1935.
