To his mother, describes his new routine, and refers to being filmed an official ceremony - medal presentation -VC to H Nildar Parkash Singh [1913-1991], where he was wearing a topee (in a later note about topees, Ridgway says never normally wore one, and the only people who did were the ICS and Anglo-Indians).
