To his mother, has been to China; at Kweilin (Guilin) visited Charlotte Bacon and her hospital [this was a Christian Missionary Society hospital]. He has met the British ambassador at Chungking (Sir Horace Seymour) and E Boothby, and has also Claire Chennault [US air commander in China] . Found he liked Chinese food and became adept at using chopsticks. Has met Ronald Hamilton at Delhi recently.
