Advisory Committee for Public Health Investigations Minutes

Scope and Content

The Committee was established in 1902 (by Owens College) to oversee the work of the Public Health Laboratory. Its brief included supervising the teaching and research work of the Department of Public Health, as well as contract work undertaken by the Laboratory for local authorities. It was discharged in 1921, when the Laboratory was closed.
