Scope and Content

The Library committee was a joint committee of Senate and Council, and was responsible for the University Library (from 1972-2004, known as the John Rylands University Library of Manchester). The Committee was one of the University's oldest, dating back to the 1860s. The Medical Library was supervised by the Medical Library Committee. From early 70s the User Sub-Committee minutes are included.

Minutes signed to 1980.
