Small manuscript containing medicinal and household recipes with a detailed alphabetical index in the rear written by Friderich Albrecht Dietzen, the mayor and town clerk of Herrenberg.

Folios 69-108 are blank. Inscriptions on the inside front cover indicate that the manuscript was acquired by the Manchester Medical Society in February 1876 and that it was subsequently allocated the reference GD 402.
