Colour painting of the patient's right eye with the lids held open by two fingers clearly showing the dilated blood vessels. Annotations on the back read "Patient's name 10.5.47 Manchester University".

Permanent dilation conjunctival vessels 10 years after cure of carotico-cavernous aneurysm.

Typed across the bottom of the object.
