Harold Heathcote was the youngest son of Rowland Heathcote, and brother to Rowland, John and Godfrey Heathcote. A graduate of the University of Manchester (MB ChB 1911 MD 1913, DPH 1916) he was school medical officer for Salford Corporation and a member of Manchester Medical Society.
