Richard Neave is a former head of the Department of Medical Illustration at the University of Manchester medical school. He is well-known for his work in facial reconstructions of unidentified corpses including the Lindow man, an Iron age skeleton discovered in a Cheshire bog, and the '1770' mummy in Manchester Museum. He has also been involved with reconstructing the facial appearances of victims of crime.
