LRCP LRCS Edin, LM LFPS Glasgow 1891.
Carr studied at Owens College Manchester and Guy's Hospital. He was a surgeon for Clifton and Kearsley Collieries, and for the Warehousemen and Clerks' Association. By 1927 Carr had retired and moved to London.
